Summer Shopping ♥

Hey there,

Recently I have done a bit of shopping!! It was brought on by some very pleasing GCSE exam results (still many more to come next year though) and so I received some money.

I went to the Tate Modern in London and enjoyed a wander round, getting inspiration for my next project in GCSE Art. In the Tate Modern shop, I fell in love with just about everything. In amongst the art utensils, cool mugs and a children's book called 'Poo bum' (about a Bunny that could only say 'Poo bum' ....yes, I was tempted) I found a genuine Roy Lichtenstein t-shirt! I was absolutely amazed, since I adore Pop art and all his work. And.... it was on sale!! *screams*
I was £25 originally, and I bought it for £12.50. Bargain! I'm so pleased with it and want to buy more Pop art shirts.

Then, I went into town with my mum and sister to do some shopping and general girly-ness.

I am loving Superdrug's range of Tea Tree products, and decided to buy some to help with the skin a la teenage.

1. Shine Control Papers - £2.59
2. Tea Tree Spot Stick - £2.99
3. Tea Tree Nose Strips - £3.99
4. Tea Tree Mud Mask - £0.89

There was an offer that meant the 2nd product was half price, so I had a total saving of £1.94! Hee hee!

But, the most exciting purchase is yet to come....

I bought a satchel for school!
Hurrah!
In a previous post, I created a look on Polyvore that featured many satchels, and now I finally own one!

It was only £24 and from this beautiful shop, called L4 Leather (please like their Facebook page).
It sells, you guessed it, mainly Leather bags (some are hand-made by the owners), purses, wallets but also Leather-style satchels like mine! The prices are excellent and it is an independent shop so it is well worth the money, to support the lovely couple that run it.

Aint it pretty?

Gorgeous lining!
